OK, slight embellishment with the title here. I have entered the ‘West Tytherley’ Village Fate Photographic Competition, which will be judged by a local professional photographer. Categories being, portrait, village life and abstract.
Portraits do not have to be people, which is good for me as I try my very best not to mix with the general public. Hence, all those recently posted images of the poor cat.
Village life, bit difficult to photograph gossip/bitching and cameras are not permitted in the village wife swapping parties.
Abstract, took a picture of a piece of rusty old metal, sure to win!
Now, for the past 3 years I have, free of charge, produced the artwork for the village fate flyers and posters. My moral dilemma being should I remind the fete committee of this fact prior to judging with next years ‘free’ artwork in mind. Could this possibly be considered as exerting undue influence?
The fete is being held on the 18 May, please wish me luck, as I will possibly never get over not winning!
