For the first time in 5 years, I will be at home when our local enduro takes place, and I have been asked to take a few pictures...
So, what hel[p and advice - I can't walk miles, due to an old injury, but want to be able to pick out a good spot to stand for some spectacular stuff - jumps, roosters out of turns etc.
What can any of you experts tell me - I might be able to walk some of the circuit tomorrow - what do I look for, given I don't even know what direction the riders will be going in..
Many thanks for anything you can tell me !
Cheers
Steve

Posted in the transport section as well...

theres often a longish section away from the start that gets the rooster tails flying. get off to one side for them.
look for a rocky section (slower )to get the legs out ,trying not to fall off stuff.
stream crossings are always good to . steam and mud flying.
get to the pits for the mud spattered riders looking knackered.
a good tight sandy corner will soon form a good rut, specialy if its a bit banked. thats usualy a good place for the faster riders.
watch the sand in your camera tho.

Cor - I was beginning to think no-one liked me...!
Thanks for the wods of wisdom - I am about to go and see if I can walk around the track to get some ideas...

..and you too have a friend in me..
Just went to have a wander round to discover the track is about 18 kilometers long. There are loads of very dark clouds in the sky, it is drizzling, and i am not going to bother - shallow or what, eh..?

Hey you...!
When I said shallow, I meant the depth of the flood waters, nothing to do with me getting my hair style ruined by a little drizzle

Steve - con cojones grande...(in my dreams..)
