Something that I don't really understand in the top left you've 5 photos that are taking up only a little more space than the next smallest images, why squash those in like that when the rest of the images are so much larger? Also I find all the misalignment a little off putting though that maybe a little bit of my inner OCD

No worries. I like the different sizes. I have a friend who posted something similar but have all the images are the same size... its not for me :^)
