This bothers me. I've seen a decline in activity in a number of forums because they're now all on facebook, something which I refuse to use.

I changed a couple of DNS settings on Friday night and they took well over 24 hours to propagate. It was like being on the internet 15 years ago. I suspect a problem with the internet...

This is by design. The new copyright laws may cripple the ability of forums to continue operations and inevitable facebook would gobble up everything. That would be the ultimate virtual Gulag.
