I bought the last 6 of the above from Currys Digital in St Helens yesterday I presume that they are the same price in other branches. They may be marked higher on the shelf, but should only be 97p at the till.
That's only £1.94 for 4 AA size which you slide into the adapter to use as a type 'C' battery. The adapters alone cost more than that. Obviously you can also use them as AA's, but Eneloops are better (also dearer). I only really wanted the adapters, I already have plenty Eneloops.
I've two old powerfull flashguns that take Size 'C' A Pentax AF400T and a Sunpak Autozoom 5000, both work perfectly with adapted AA's.
