Elinchrom Strip Boxes

I have a Lencarta Profold 140 x 30 with an Elinchrom adaptor as part of my demo gear, and it is extremely impressive, as well as being even easier to fold up for transport than the Elinchrom Rotalux
The only downside is that I cant use Elinchrom deflectors inside the Profold owing to the folding mechanism.

Depending on your budget I would look at other brands than Elinchrom own softboxes. Mainly because if you later plan to use grids, you are kinda screwed if you went the Rotalux route... (the grids will cost you a fortune). Take a look at Photoflex, they make nice softboxes. :)

... as well as being even easier to fold up for transport than the Elinchrom Rotalux ...

Its not like Rotalux boxes are difficult to assemble.

Good prices from Lencarta and Bessel.

Had quite a few pm's recommending Bessel, definitely worth looking at considering you get egg crates included at a fraction of the price. Can anyone vouch for their quality?

IMO the 'egg-crates' look far to open (size/depth of the cells) to be really that effective, but I will add that I have no personal experience of them.
