Elinchrom RX4 + Skyport Plus HS - can't get above 1/200

Don't know if anyone is using this combo, but can't seem to figure this out...

Setting my transmitter to HS, but it doesn't want to stay there for some reason, set my heads to R.2... and the whole thing stops working. I'm sure it's a simple solution, I'm missing something...

Anyone offer any advice?

Have you bought a new set of flashy things Beth? Mine are the old style so haven't got the RX function but I need at least one more so am going to buy one this month, probably need to upgrade the sky port too. Still want a Quadra though!

Hi have, Khris. I was going to upgrade to the latest ELB Quadra action heads, then talked to the guys at TFC and The Photography Show and realized that I don't really need all that... That the RX4's will do everything I want / need and in combi with the HS Skyport, they're perfect....and if I want to go mobile, I either can either use multiple speedlites or just rent the Godox Battery Pack from them.
I'm really pleased with them I have to say. Obviously bigger heads than the Quadra's, but I was happy to make that sacrifice. Money talks.

Have your quadras died? I love how compact they are but I guess you'd need to replace batteries every few years. I have the old d-lites but need a couple more heads, so a little torn between the new RX or spending a little more on the BRX. Definitely going to go with one 2/250 version for less power and prob get a d-lite one for less power, back ground light. I need to upgrade my trigger too. Certainly going to get one head next couple of weeks and the trigger.

That's interesting, just looking at the compatibility chart for hi-sync and BRX isn't compatible, only the 400ws d-lite. That might change things a little. There's not really a discernible difference with the BRX other than it might be a little more robust which isn't much of a reason for a weekend warrior like myself.
