Any one got or have used the Elinchrom rotalux softboxes i do a fair bit of mobile portrait shoots and it can be a bit of a pain putting up and taking apart softboxes. I have been though a couple of 100cm boxes where they do not like being taken apart on a regular bases. The rotalux seem so easy to put up and take down i know they seem dear the 100cm is about £230 but they might be worth it. What do you think?

I agree. First thing I did with my kit was replace the standard softbox with a Rotalux for exactly that reason. They are excellent, as you might expect at the price.

I also got one of these recently, Lastolite Umbrella box for £38. Also easy peezy to put up and very similar sort of light for portraits http://www.warehouseexpress.com/buy-lastolite-1m-umbrella-box-7mm-stem/p12463

Cheers hoppyuk think i will give one a go, what size have you got?

70cm square. I use it mainly for table-top still life/products etc where it's just big enough but still manageable on a boom.

I was going to get a bigger octa for portraits but I'm quite happy with the Lastolite 100cm Umbrella Box for now.
