I currently run a Win10 machine with PSElements 12 for my Canon EOS 5D3 and had no issues in terms of raw CR2 thumbnails being shown on the monitor. I recently got a Canon 5D4, but all I see now is the CR2 raw notification. The only way I can see any image is by opening the image in Affinity, making my PSElements 12 redundant. If I bought a newer version of PSElements, would I be able to view and select the images in Win10, or do I need an upgrade to Win11 also? Many thanks

No-one needs an 'upgrade' to W11.... You have two realistic options - just buy the current version of PSE and it'll handle RAWs from nearly all cameras except perhaps the very latest or you can use Adobe's stand-alone RAW convertor (a free download) to convert the files into an intermediate format that your PSE12 can handle (.DNG or .PST, for example). As usual, it's a choice of cost vs. convenience..... However, later versions of PSE do have a lot of good features so may be worth the £70 upgrade price.

Thank you

There are lots of photo editing suites on sale at the moment and Affinity have released version 2.
