Elements 8 - Trial / register for full licence?

Quick query. Out of UK at the moment. If I try the trial of Elements 8 then order the disc from UK (for Mac), when it arrives is it simply the case of my wife needing to give me the licence number to register the trial and convert it to fully licensed or does it work like that?
 
I am pretty sure that it worked like that for me - I did exactly that and I do not remember uninstalling and reinstalling.

Amazon were doing a very good price a month or so ago - a tad over 50 quid.

Just add your licence number and it'll work fine.

Registration is under the HELP menu tab.
 
Yes that will work fine, I don't think I've had my physical disc in the computer.
 
Ditto, haven't needed to use the disc for any Adobe stuff, download/use the trial then add the serial# from the box.
 
I don't have a disc, i downloaded the trial and simply bought a serial from the Adobe site.

But to answer your question, yes :-)
