Elements 7 & D300s RAW files

Hi All,
I bit the bullet a few weeks ago & bought a D300s to replace a D80. :D
With my D80 I've been processing the RAW files with Elements 7 but have found that the RAW files from the D30s won't open.
I thought I had found a suitable patch / plug-in on the Adobe site but I don't know how to get it into Elements to update the program.

Can anyone advise please on the process from start to finish in case I am doing something wrong or indeed if Elements 7 can or can't be updated & I need to buy 8. (won't be happy if thats the case as it's not that old :( )

i'm pretty sure elements 7 supports your camera , might be wrong though

have you downloaded latest camera RAW from Adobe ?

cant remember exactly what to do because its a while since i installed mine , but i reckon you just open and run the file

I've sorted it now. I had downloaded the correct plug-in but I had assumed the update process was more automated than it actually was. Once I read the instructions properly it seemed to work ok.
 
That happened to me when I got my D300s.
Could not get PSE7 to open the RAW files.
Downloads were a pain in the jacksie to get and never installed properly.

Eventually bought PSE8 to overcome the problem.
