Elements 6 broken files..(HELP)

Help help help!

I'm getting really annoyed with elements 6 now - i've constantly getting broken files, if i restart the application then it's eventually ok, i keep using the repair tool thing and it sorts it for a day but then it goes again, giving a grey icon

anyone suggest any better programs than elements?

You might want to uninstall PSE6 and reinstall it. This may fix the problem.

You're not moving the original image files around by any chance or renaming them?

You could try reseting preferences before a reinstall (uninstalling won't reset them) start elements then hold down CTRL+ALT+SHIFT while it's loading, you will be asked if you wish to reset prefs, click ok. This fixes lots of odd problems with photoshop, but check whats been said in the above post first. Wayne
