As the title said I need someone who knows Elements 5.0 inside out. I know plenty of shortcuts etc.
However...
I am wanting to
1.Make an action.
2.Batch process and add it to every image.

And just leave the computer to do it.

Guess who
1. Cant seem to find it.
2. Has looked in her book and its not in there.
3. Doesnt think its possible.

:'(

:help:

Hi Adele, sorry I can't answer this directly :( but I have downloaded actions to use in PSE5 and always assumed that they were created in a more advanced photoshop package (CS2, CS3, etc). I'm not sure if this is correct or not and hopefully someone will be along shortly with more info for you.

Have you tried googling to see if an action already exists on the internet that would apply to what you want? I know a lot of the Flickr groups for photoshop share actions on their group pages. Plus, you might have more luck asking on one of their group discussions?

I would like to know the answer though, when you find one :)

Are you thinking of Droplets, where an action can be applied to a folder full of images ?
not sure that this is possible in elements 5.0

Hi Alex, thanks for the reply.
Im wanting actions such as Hue/Saturation Brightness/Contrast etc, at certian specifics... but then its just applying that to ALL images in a batch process.

Not sure what camera you use but batch processing on RAW files is possible through Canon's own editing software. Perhaps you could get that to work some of what you want and then tweak the individual images in photoshop?

I can't remember exactly how you batch process in Canon software but if you open the RAW files in Zoombrowser and then click to edit RAW with all your pics selected then it should apply any changes you make to the batch. It will be in the help files I'm sure.

under the file menu do you have process multiple files? I do on elements 6.0. This shoud do what you want

edit - though the editing choices are limited

according to various reviews its not possible to record stuff for batch processing it elements - you need CS3 for that functionality
