risking it taking photos/footage inside kings tut's tomb, when i was there they had a striked no photo policy and saw a bloke get his camera smashed when they was trying to take it off him and it was dropped

i didn't know they had built a replica,Doubt they care about photography inside the tomb they take you to these days, it's only about 3 years old. I know an Egyptian guy who was one of the archaeologists working on creating the replica they now take tourists to.
Egypt's always good fun. Had a friend who worked there - had a flat just around the corner from Tahrir during the Arab Spring. Hope you took the long train ride down to Luxor - only way to really see Egypt.
