Editing programme

I have seen lightroom 3 and it looks amazing however I simply cannot afford this, so was wondering is there a free download thats good for editing or a cheaper alternative, Thanks in advance.

There isnt anything to touch lightroom for free in terms of the cataloging system, put puerly for editing, GIMP is free to use. Or you might wamt to buy a version of Adobe Elements, which is basicly a stripped back photoshop.

I use CS 5 from Photoshop ( a tad expensive) Or you can buy photoshop elements 9 for around £50- £60

However I can also recommend "GIMP" or even "PICAS 3 both good editing suites and FREE

the first programme I always use before taking the pics to Photoshop. very very under-rated is photoscape.
