Hi Guys

I've taken half a dozen quick snaps of my granddaughter, and I'm pleased with how they've turned out.
I've had a quick edit in Affinity.
4 of the shots are very slightly warm, maybe yellowish, and the other two are slightly reddish.
My Mac isn't calibrated.
Is there a quick way to make them all more similar in skin tone without a lot of faffing about, and trial and error? As in I get one how I want, and make the rest the same?
Cheers

if they were all taken in the same lighting conditions, and if there happens to be the same handy bit of white or grey in every photograph (such as a collar, or the white of an eye), you could try using that as a white/gray WB (white balance) reference in each image. This is such an easy way of doing it that it pays to carry around a bit of white or gray you can put in the corner of each shot of this kind in the future, and then crop it off after using it for WB.

Your editor might also have a handy single button "fix the white balance in this image for me" which would do the job well enough even in the absence of a good white/gray reference in the images.

Thanks for that.
I had another play, and discovered presets .
Seems to have worked.
Thanks

You could also try a white balance adjustment layer to bring it to where you want it.

It's simple, if the image is a JPEG just open it, then go to the top toolbar and click on Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Whitebalance Adjustment then a dialogue box will open and you just move the top slider left or right to make it cooler or warmer; alternatively click on the Picker button (bottom left) and then click on a neutral (grey or white) are in the image and the software will make best guess at the correct whitebalance. Then once you have it as you want then save the changes

What's the advantage in doing it as a layer rather than just adjusting the image?

The layer is non destructive so if you don't get it right it won't affect the originasl. When yiu save it, it will just flatten it into 1 image anyway. Layers are easy to use in AP.
