Editing like this.

Hello all,

I'm really quite new to the editing game - I prefer to get it right in camera and other clichés.

However recently I've seen a certain style of editing that I really want to try and replicate.

The image of the lady in the centre holding the flag really captures my attention. I like the colours.

What sort of effects can you see have been applies to this image and how could I basically replicate them??

If the photographer is local I'd be tempted to ask them exactly what they did.

looks like a slight desturation and a vignette added. Looks like a filter used also to get the deep blue in the sky. Fill flash too to light the model and foreground rocks.

Looks like he has turned up the blacks and the vibrancy and the saturation down, possibly a touch of cross processing. Think he has also added a sharpen layer / turned up the clarity if it was done in lightroom.
I agree with leftcurl about the vignette too.
