Economical Printer

Can anyone advise on a black and white only printer which is economical on ink?
For printing text BTW not photos.

B&W laser printer. Far cheaper than any inkjet and the ink never dries up

If you need an Inkjet, Kodak seem to be the cheapest on Ink replacement costs

Thanks. The only thing holding me back from that is the fact that I don't really do a huge amount of printing and need something with a small footprint.

Plenty of lasers that will fit the bill. Look at HP's entry level models - you can't go wrong.

I use the HP Laser Jet 1018, which is very cheap to run.
