Hi there,

I'm on the first stages of preparing my first photo exhibition, in total there will be 30-40 A3-size photos. Could someone recommend a place to buy economical photo frames? There's always the Ikea option about maybe there's is something more interesting, professional... I'm based in London.

Many thanks!

Hi Kubi, I recently spent a long time looking round for photo frames for an exhibition, and I found the best place was
Trade Picture Frames. They're much cheaper than other sites, and the quality and delivery times are great too. The only downside is that you have to spend £50 (before VAT and delivery) before you can order as it's a trade site, so it's only really an option if you plan on purchasing quite a few frames.

I've attached a photo of one of my shots in one of their frames (I believe it's the frame with the code O5) as an example. They don't come with mounts but I think they sell them too.

Interestingly I paid £9.96 + VAT for that A2 frame about a month ago, but it seems to have gone up in price quite a bit since (to £14.44?!). Such a shame as I was going to buy 10-12 of them in a few weeks!
