Yes
"Do you know the name of the factory where your (product) was manufactured and could you describe the working conditions of the staff?"

:help:

did someone ask you that?

Just say " Yes I know where the products I sell where manufactured and I could describe the conditions, why do you want to know? "

God bless Ebay and the multitude of plebs who please us daily with their lack of brain cells.

Better than

'do u no *** da maka of dis 1 is n ow dey liv'
or
'i don no **** 1 fits dis brakit.do u ofer free postajjjjjj?'

And it took me about 5 minutes to type those lol

yeah yeah Marcel!

I bet your fluent in ned talk :P

To be honest it's hardly a reasonable question to ask, the answer is almost certainly going to be no. But it's a very laudable question too. I'd hate to think that something that I was about to buy had been produced in a "sweatshop" by teenage kids forced to work long hours for a pittance.

Totally impractical to even ask in reality, but you've surely got to have some sympathy as well?

i agree, you never truly know who has made your stuff :(

Are you  ?

I've nothing to prove it either way

But I'd still say I've absolutely no sympathy with ruthless sweatshops who exploit the workers. But I do have for someone who enquires about it in order to avoid buying from them. Seems reasonable to me.

Too be honest its nice to meet an Ebayer who has some sort of moral compass and might not be willing to overlook poor working conditions, long hours and working in a potentially toxic environment just to save a few bob on something that cost a fraction of a penny to produce.

China IS cheap and its one of the worlds biggest economies. This cheapness comes at human cost, like it or not.

Maybe Ebay isn't the venue not to ask, but its not a silly question.
