Thinking about renting some good glass for the weekend (100-400L)

I'll be going but I'm seriously considering shooting it from outside the field.

& if you are looking for East Fortune at Montrose you'll have a hard time as it's by Haddington in East Lothian ...

I am relieved you said that! The actual East Fortune Airshow is next Saturday 25th July though!!! Got the leaflet sat in front of me! Best position to get shots is sat right on top of Traprain Law [landmark hill] where the aircrafts tend to turn if want better close-ups ;) Views across the Forth/Berwick Law/Bass Rock as added extras!
 
Helen. Thank you for the info re. viewing sites, I was just about to ask where the best spots would be.

When you go, make sure you have a wee explore of the abandoned military hospital next door.
