Hi guys,
Eny suggestions how could I arn money as a videographer being amotour?

no.

professionals do a professional job and charge money.

Where have i seen a similar question like this before... de ja vuuuuuu.......

You could set up a web site showing a particular genre of 'amateur' videos...

Judging by your other posts you have a panasonic sd700.... I don't think you could be taken seriously as a Videographer with what is basically a home camcorder.

Also I might sound rude but learning to spell properly wouldn't go a miss, you won't be taken seriously anywhere if you type like a 10 year old and mis-spell simple words like "Any" "Earn" and "Amateur"

Thise ansveres are net very kinde gentelmin :-)
I have the same desire but now I am afraid to ask as egocentic nature seems to prevail everywhere :-)

Thanks for the info

To be honest, if you want polite answers perhaps joining in properly and not spamming the boards with loads of irrelevant and contradictory posts would be the way to go :cuckoo:

in answer to your question , get a decent pro level camera, learn to use it properly (which incidentally you can help yourself with by joining in properly and not spamming etc) - then think about making money ;)

learn to spell is good advice.. saying someone wont be taken seriously anywhere if they cant spell is complete and utter condescending rubbish.

would you take a pro who can't spell "any" or "earn" seriously ?

If he actually wants to work as a videographer he's going to have to write contacts, marketting material etc, and having them littered with misspellings of simple words isnt going to impress many clients (and yes i know some people have dyslexia etc - as do i, but that is why speeling chunkers were invented)

more to the point if you look at samograma's other posts you'll see why its hard to take him/her/it seriously

I earn a living.. I cant spell for peanuts..

This is a messageboard. do you think i send out invoices with poor spelling? no i dont.. but i dont do the same level of checking for a messageboard.. that would be a bit sad.. so long as people know what i mean thats all that counts

Ho dont worry I already know that.. seems to be a complete plank :).. but i wasnt talkign about him.. i was talkign about the whole concept of people who cant spell will not be taken seriosuly by anyone.. thats untrue!

I'm sorry but any sentence you have to reread 3 times does not inspire confidence in anyone, missing afew vowels here and there is one thing but to screw up a whole sentence like that shows either laziness or troll, if thats the level of laziness then it will obviously show in other walks of life (like amotour vidiography), if troll then 2/10.

Oh and Kipax it depends on the level of professionalism, acceptable for day to day maybe but would a news writer be taken seriously? A lawyer? accountant? actually fk lawyers I hate most of em

marketing your product i.e show your work to the public make them aware that you exist this is easy in the modern age for people like you as there are many channels for you to use for free. these are:

The internet(web sites, blogs, forums, youtube, vimeo, facebook, twitter, etc..)
word of mouth the best form of marketing
voluntary projects for free
promotions

see the more you add to your product the more recognition you will get it is up to you how you give the customer the recognition I can give you advanced information but normally that comes at a cost as that is my job consultancy.

and your spelling is really bad get Google chrome it has a spelling correct feature like MS Word :-) lol
