Eagle owls attacking dogs with thier walkers in Dunsop bridge

I know that we all know that they are here, but now with bubbas to feed its time to keep rover in doors, today a footpath was closed in lancashire for the safety of the general public and thier pets.

Knee-high to a human, and a 6ft wing span. Bloody hell. you see that thing coming towards you with those eyes fixed on you..... pfft, no thanks!

If my memory serves me correctly......wildlife photographer Eric Hoskings only had one eye......as an owl took out his other one. :|

I was just about to suggest they send a tog that way to get some photographs of it happening. But after reading that I am not so sure now.

That's true. He was photography an owl's nest (tawny I think) when Mamma came home...
