Merry Christmas all,

I am trying DXO with Lightroom, specifically for noise reduction.

Anyway, I have managed to export from Lightroom to DXO, I can run the corrections I would like.... then I export back to Lightroom as a DNG file and it takes a while to process but then nothing!

It's so frustrating! I have no idea where the DNG file is, DXO is not creating a new collection in Lightroom and I can't access the DXO forum for help as my membership needs to be reviewed by a moderator....

Any ideas?

It's driving me nuts! - How hard can it be?!

Any ideas?

Are you using the DXO Lightroom plugin to open the file in DXO?

When you set up the DXO to DNG save/export options, are you specifying that you want to save back to the same location the original raw?

It some time since I have done this, but these are a couple of ideas from my memory of what I did.

There was a tutorial on on integrating DXO with LR on the DXO website, but they seem to have totally revamped the site and I can't find anything now.

OK, working in DXO 11 there's a tab bottom right Export To Lightroom. Click on that and I get a dialogue box telling me that it will export to Lightroom, allowing selection of file type (I usually choose 16 bit TIFF) and quality if relevant. Clicking on Export creates the processed image as a TIFF file in the original folder (takes half a minuite or so) and then opens lightroom with the exported file as a new import.

Questions arise:
1) When exporting back to Lightroom, do you have the export tab I mentioned above & see the dialogue box? If not, how do you export?
2) Are you already working with the files as DNG format RAWs?
3) If yes above, is it possible that the original DNG files are being over-written?
4) Is it possible that a DNG file is being created by DXO that does not get imported to LR automatically, but is still somewhere in the original folder?
5) Is there a chance you've adjusted a setting to make it automatically export to a different folder & forgotten where?

As a starting point to unpick this, try creating a folder with a single image in it. Import into LR, export to DXO, re-import to LR & see what you get.
