DVD slideshows

pictures to exe is the one Im currently trying to get to grips with

Lightroom 4 offers a good slideshow option as well
 
:plusone: for pictures to exe ... not the easiest to learn but well worth spending the time on :thumbs:
 
I've got a program called Photo DVD Maker Pro, which allows you to create excellent slideshows on DVD. It lets you choose what wipes you want from pic to pic, add a music background, choose what menu's you want and call it what you want when it shows.

Have a google for it, I got it free when it first came out and registered with the developers so I get the upgrades etc. It's really easy to use and is a very handy program, I've done them for weddings, proms, birthdays and a Jubilee party and with a printed disc and case looks very professional.
 
Thank you for the suggestion, think that's the one I'm currently using. Really liked it, but just created a wedding DVD for someone and on the second play through it started skipping and starts playing from the beginning. :shrug:

I agree, but new version of PicturesToExe 7.5 has a completely new user friendly design.

Also the main improvement in this version - new timeline view with multiple audio tracks and track of slides.

Final version should be published in a week. But you can try pre-final version already now (see the "Forum" link on WnSoft website).
