Basically for £39.99 for 12 issues they will give you a £40.99 camera bag free. Not a bad deal IMO, especially if you are in the market for a small bag (don't be confused with the XL name), DSLR plus 1 extra lens.

Personally I only got the magazine because of the offer the last time it was on (last Summer IIRC), thought of it in reverse, buy bag and get free magazine . I have to say I think it's a good magazine provided you ignore the advertorials for Pentax and Olympus that appear regularly. I do find it does shares alot of content (e.g. usually the same camera on test) with its sister magazine Digital Photo Pro but that's to be expected I suppose. It has a strong forum behind it with regular group meets and the forum provided a lot of content to the magazine (personally not even looked at it as I like it here).

i like the format of this magazine, it emphasizes the internet side a lot, makes you feel like part of the magazine, at least, most of it is influenced by the forums, i've been in it the last 3 months in a row and am going to be in again next month (made the last 16 of the animal portrait comp). The admin are also part of the magazine, particularly Charlotte Griffiths, who features in a lot of it.
Basically, the magazine has got the potential to go a long long way but the forums are quite quiet tbh.

I may take this offer up for a bag to carry my lenses in on a trip out as it's a PITA getting them out of my min trekker everytime i want to change lens.

Cheers for this, wanted a bag just for my D200 and a lens rather than lugging everything around in my lowepro aw200 so this fits the bill. As you get a pretty much free magazine thrown in can't go wrong really!!!!
