Hi All,

I have just ordered a 5d Mark III and would like to get some insurance for it. Can anyone recommend a good insurance company. I will be using this gear to make money at some stage so wont be covered under home insurance and i think the policy only covers electronics up to £1500 if i am not wrong. I will also be adding some more glass to the kit over the next year or two so 100% want to get insurance.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mark

I've just renewed my Photoguard insurance as I'm pretty impressed with their efficiency, however there is always Aaduki that's worth a check as well. I would advise against E&L after finding out their excess amount is between 8-12% IIRC, which would mean around £900-1200 excess for me against no excess at Photoguard.

I use InFocus insurance. Never had to make a claim, but the most sensible T's & C's I could find (always read the T's & C's). Around £160 IIRC for £9k cover

Another one for photoguard. I had to make a claim a few years back and it was fast and efficient.
