I just wanted to give a little tip. Do NOT use their pearl profile for your orders. There seems to be some issue at their end (files somehow get untagged and treated as sRGB) and prints come out with totally wrong colours. I did check with their manager, and he even OK'd the digital file exported from LR. Still the result was exactly the same :( Not a massive loss but pretty annoying.

Glossy and Lustre profiles work fine, but there is little point of using them. Just save your time and send in sRGB files.

P.s. If slight extra cost is not an issue I strongly suggest upgrading to their giclee prints. Baryta paper is awesome and makes C-type look very cheap.

Want to play with profiles? Try whitewall or buy your own printer :bang:

Interesting you've had issues.
I used their pearl printing a few years ago using their pearl profile export from lightroom and loved the results. So either something broke or something wasn't applied properly.
I did have an issue with the profiles though - their names are very similar and it's not always clear which one's which (I can't remember off the top of my head which of the three were confusing).

The only issue I did have with the pearl print was a fault in one of the prints: there was almost like a hole / pinprick where the print hadn't completed or laminated. When I pointed it out upon receiving the prints, DSCL were good and immediately reprinted and posted out the replacement free of charge.
