DSCL odering problem

I have been using dscl in Manchester for a while for ordering my prints, now i have hit on a problem after doing a java update that they said i needed. Since then I cant open the kiosk either normally, or using the link they provide for anyone having trouble. I cant use my editing computer as that is 64 bit & seems to cause shed loads of probs when trying to order. Now my laptop wont order either i am having to use the laptop ownjed by the mrs. This obviously is not a massive problem but is very annoying none the less!
Anyone else experienced these problems & found a solution.:shrug:

I once had an issue uploading to their system and I ended up calling them to ask for help, I emailed the image to them and paid over the phone with my debit card. Might not be practical if you have loads of images though.

This is good to here though as I have a batch to upload sometime this week and Java seems to have been smacked down by apple following a security issue.

I had issues with W7 and Java7. Deleted Java7 (Oracle) and installed Java6 (Sun Micro) and is now perfect. Java was sold by Sun Micro to Oracle and there have been issues since.

Check you don't have multiple versions installed, java has a stupid habit of not removing the old one when updating.

Neil was spot on, I had 2 versions of java installed :bang: so now all sorted, neil have a virtual pint on me as means of a big thank you

yep, seems you have suffered at the hands of the java bugs before.:| But thanks again

ha, just had to uninstall java 7 and install java 6 for DSCL desktop loader to run.. damn java.
