What is best cost effective way of drying prints?

I did peg my last lot up however the pegs left marks on the prints, anything print specific seems very expensive for what is essentially a rack. Any suggestions for cheap ways to do it?

Cheers,
Chris

I use pegs for RC paper and never get any marks left on the print. Maybe the one you have are too new/strong?

For fibre based paper I used a print dryer but cant use these on RC as it melts the surface

Hi, As Steve said for fibre based prints I use a print dryer with a glazing plate fo high gloss prints.

For RC prints I gently scweegee them and either lay a towel on top of the print dryer and then the prints on top of that (never had a damaged print yet).

Or once again gently scweegee them and dry them gently with hair dryer on a low setting. Works well fo me.

Hope this helps.

I use a plastic coated wire LP record rack for RC prints - 50p from local flea market - great for 10x8s
