Driver less cars, a step closer?

as a software developer i know how many bugs, despite quite stringent testing, get through the net. That's one thing when it concerns someone's insurance policy, but another when it involves driving your car for you.

They haven't removed the human element from driving these cars, they've just moved it further back in the development tree to a riskier position. So knickers to that, I'll stick with hands on as long as there's an option.
