Off on a holiday tomorrow, I am bringing a windows machine and an external hard drive for back up. When i get home i will need to copy the pictures to my mac (formatted as hfs+).
Now i know i can use fat32, but in my experience it isn't a great format, especially for copying many gb's of files from one drive to another. The 2 alternatives i can see are installing a hfs explorer on my windows machine, or an ntfs explorer on my mac.
My preference is to use the windows hfs explorer (i have tried various mac fuse plugins previously with varying degrees of success).
Has anybody got any experience of HFS Explorer, or are there any aklternatives i should be aware of?
