I'm sure most of us have our cameras, lenses, filters etc well protected but if you want a free method or some additional protection read on.
Just received a food delivery from Tesco (other retailers are available) which included some bottled beer. Each bottle arrives in a bag made from bubble wrap.
Each bag is roughly 30x20cm and would give protection to a lens (or compact, or smallish bridge camera) or could be used as extra cushioning.
Do photographers need a better reason to drink beer?
