DPP and Lightroom

Hoping someone can help.

Up to now I've processed all my RAW images using Canon's DPP. Now I've just got hold of Lightroom 3.2m but when I import the photos none of my editing is there. I really don't want to have to re-edit several thousand photos.

So how do I import RAW images already edited in DPP and keep all those settings.

You cannot I'm afraid.

In Lightroom you have the option to export with lightroom adjustments , is there not a feature like this in DPP , can't help more as I don't use DPP

Taken from the artical above:-

1. Adjust image to taste in DPP and save.
2. Convert RAW to TIFF.
3. Open the saved TIFF in PS and you'll see your changes in living color.

I think saving to TIF (16bit would be better) and importing to LR is the only way to achieve this.
