Downloading problem.

I have a Canon 5 Mark 4 and seem to be having a problem DL photo's from the CF card to my iMac. If I leave the CF card in there camera and connect the camera to my computer with the supplied cable plugged into a powered hub the photo's do not DL, but if I take the CF card out of the camera and insert it into a card reader there is no problem, the photo's DL okay

What happens if you connect the camera directly to your iMac?

I have not tried that, but will do so tomorrow.

Holds head in shame, Found that the connection between camera and cable was not happening, so as in most cases operator error.
