I love looking for 'stuff' on eBay and have bought loads and loads over the years.

I have always wanted a Tablet laptop to have a go with, and having had a few (err-hem) vino colapsos (glasses of wine) I decided to look for one.

Saw an old Thinkpad x201T at £265 inc P&P or best offer. I offered £235 inc and they accepted.

I have a spare 128Gb SSD hard disk from an old laptop that died so that will go inside. Only has 4Gb of RAM which is a bummer mind. I suspect that it will have 2 x 2Gb, which I will put in my old x200 that I use at work and pop the 8Gb from that in to this.

I can then have it as an emergency spare in case my T420 breaks that I use at matches.

Anyway be warned, either don't drink or don't go on eBay....
 
Do both but not at the same time!

At least you didn't buy that 600mm lens that is up for sale on here.
 
Yes that was lucky. Can also take it with me in the train back and forth to London.

There is a nice x220 tablet on ebay with an i7 quad core 8gb of ram and a a 250gb ssd for £399 mind...
 
Back in the day I remember having some kind of weird .. get drunk and buy domains in the hope they would one day be worth millions .. syndrome ... suffice to say I ended up with a lot (aka all)duff domains ... and one heck of a hangover !
