Donna Nook - Hotels

Can anyone recommend any hotels or B&B's near Donna Nook? I would like to go along to photograph the seals but its a long drive to do it in a day.

We were booked in the Travel Inn at Grimsby before the weather forecast turned grim and gloomy and we cancelled. £48 a night though which is OK if there's two of you but not so hot on your own, I'm guessing.

There are a few travel Lodges up that way too (Definately one at Lincoln cos we went past it) and the drive from there to Donna Nook wouldn't take you long on the morning.

there are also some b&bs near donna nook itself, within 2 miles a couple of them !

remember the site is a bomb range on weekdays, they should stop for Christmas etc, but may pay to check before booking anything!

Maybe a silly question, but doesn't that scare the Seals? It sure would scare the wotsits out of me - maybe thats how to loose the extra christmas pounds!!

lol they have a team that move the seals away from the active target area on the days its active, they are extremely careful with them !

Dunno if there's a Travelodge nearby :shrug: If so, you can usually pre-book a room for only £15 per night. We just stayed in one on my recent visit home.
