Does this processing work

Here is a quick shot I took of my better half used a softbox and reflector.

I used Hacker's eye popping tutorial the rest is levels. diffuse glow and some contrast adjustment.

Would be interested to hear what you guys think of processing skin in this way.

No make up whatsoever

For me you have the teeth and whites of the eyes right but teh skin and inside of the hood looks better on the first image as it has gone very plastic-y with the shininess of the second.

Hi Bruce,

The edit is not working for me, IMHO the main reason for the edit not working is that it is very "in your face", there are a few very bright spots on the skin & the image looks very over worked. I think it would help if you backed off some of the high lights and evened out the tone variations in the skin before running this process again
