Does the nifty 250 fit 1000d

As title, does the 55-250 is fit the EOS 1000d. I'm presuming it does, however the mifsuds website doesn't agree

If their site referring to the EOS 1000D or the EOS 1000 (Old film camera)

they are referring to the fact that EF-S lenses won't fit the whole range of cameras, but forgot to lump the 1000D in the list.
