As per the title really. Their prices look quite cheap yet they state they use archival quality paper. Just wondering if anyone has ordered from them before I place a trial order.

If you don't use them, who is your online printer of choice? Are whitewall any good?

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks Adam. I've heard pretty good reports on DSCL too but one or two people have said that the prints have come back pretty dark.

Might as well get a print or two from them to test the quality too. Cheers for the info.

I have used snapmad before several times. No complaints, but I havent used any of the other places to compare.

Cheers Tom. Their prices do look very cheap compared to most others so I was a bit dubious at first. I'm going to try a few prints from different companies and compare them I think.

Thanks for your comment.

I ordered prints from Snapmad and they came back very dark compared to ones I'd ordered elsewhere. I know they have an option where they will check colour/brightness etc before printing (called PCC) but they charge extra for this. I've not had problems with Snapfish or Photobox.

I recently did an experiment with 3 Labs, Snapmad, DSCL. and Digitalabs. I sent 3 identical images, all correctly exposed to all 3 labs and compared the results. I ordered 7x5 matt finished prints.
Snapmad, as already reported, were very dark and seemingly overexposed.
DSCL were better, but not by much
Digitalab were excellent by far and will be my choice in future, their prices were within pence of DSCL.:)

Am I looking at the right prices for digitalab as they seem to be expensive??

thanks

I've been happy with prints from Snapmad.

The canvases are definitely cheap and cheerful, I suppose you get what you pay for, so I wouldn't say I was disappointed with them.
