...the tramp in Liverpool that played a variety of cardboard guitars/tennis rackets etc? I'm going back to the mid to late 90's probably, I have a film photo of him somewhere but can't find it for the life of me. I'd love to see some decent shots as the stuff I have found on Google isn't great so far.
There was actually two tramps with the same "act", not sure if one copied the other but I used to see the guy with a big beard around the Playhouse/ Williamson Square area and give him some change just for being different.
Anyone have anything?

Think I know who you mean, but I don't think I had a camera way back then. Would have loved a camera back then, so many missed shots..
 
I heard a tale of him going into WH Smith's and asking to borrow a pen. When asked why he replied "I've broken a string" :)
 
The WH Smiths one was quite good
