If someone were to hold a gun to my head, I'd say it was Bath or thereabouts; something about the architecture just reminds me of it, especially with the juxtaposition of greenery and neat roads.

Obviously I don't actually know, but it does remind me of Bath.
 
I would guess Germany somewhere, but more than that no idea.

EDIT - Northampton is close to Germany, right? :p
 
Well if the original car got pinched the guy would always get the plate back from the DVLA and on that forum the car was pinched in 2006 so its possible the owner has put the plate back on another car

If this photo was taken recently.. you may be on to a winner, as that car is still missing I think .

that's from 2006, im sure the owner must have taken the plate onto his next car as it has 'vw' in it

That is not the same car at all. Could the registration be 125 BVW, and it's been messed around with to look like an R?

that's also from 2006 and im sure the owner has changed cars and carried the plate on


as far as i know, the cars were on tour to a major show that day so i think this was on the way or on the way back and not nessecerily relevant to where the cars are registered to

more specifically i think the photo was taken between august-september 2009

still would love to know if someone knew more certainly where it is
 
If you look closely at the flag on the tower, it APPEARS to be a St. George flag, so probably in England? it also looks like a Golf Club building? They obviously do Large parties as there are marked car bays. I was trying to see which side the steering wheels were on but cannot make them out! I know this isn't that much help, but every little helps? (no it's not Tesco!)
 
Wouldnt think it is a golf club as they can be a bit stuck up (especially the members) so cant see them allowing a load of boy racers within 100m of the club house for a photo shoot
 
Can i ask where the pic came from as it may help.

It could be a photo shoot for a mag or even they got to the place early for a car show.
There are a good few shows per year for the VAG scene,alot of these are at Country Halls.

but the photographer or the drivers tried to keep it a secret from everyone lol
