Does anyone know of any forums that have an active large format printing section?

Will have a peek, thanks POAH. Would just be interesting to be able to browse through threads relating to large format printing, production, handling, etc.
 
not a huge amount of difference to smaller printer except the paper is bigger and you obvioiusly have to handle it more carefully or you'll get dents in the prints.
 
I'm also curious about software nuances, driver issues, improving workflow.

I'd like to learn a lot more about driver issues, file handling, PDFs vs .jpgs, vector graphics vs rasterised images etc., reducing the time it takes to send large files to print is paramount for busy time.

TBH I should really just check out the HP forums (seeing as I have HP printers), but the last time I was on there they were so poorly laid out it was impossible to find anything and their registration system was broken, it was so frustrating and I've not been back since. :( Maybe it's time to have another look.
 
There is an active Yahoo Group devoted to wide format - I am drunk and on my way to bed so linking it to you is beyond the realms of feasibility just now....
