Does anyone climb?

Used to do an awful lot of climbing, indoor wall stuff during winter than outdoor cragging when it fines up.
Been away for a few years doing other stuff but got the team back together and started back up again.

rely enjoying bein back on the wall with some of me old rock hopper buddies. and wiedly enough it all just gelled again.

bouldering is still defo climbing just a different throw on it.
I used to know quite a few younger kids down at the old Huddersfield climbing wall that used to boulder some monster grades.

Used to do bouldering myself as well as autobelay stuff at a place near me. Unfortunately, my fingers gave up the ghost and were getting extremely painful during and after climbing. I wouldn't be able to make a fist with my left hand after climbing and tbh the physio provided did nothing to prevent or cure it. Shame really as I enjoyed it as well as it being great exercise.

A long while ago............as in I gave up in the late 70's but did mainly rock climbing in Snowdonia, The Lakes and Peak District, as well as one holiday doing rock & ice climbing in the Austrian Alps ~ (Ostaler & Stubaier regions), this latter was quite the adventure.....an incident part way through saw one member of the party emergency evacuated with a ruptured spleen
