They seem to have some competitive prices?
Are their descriptions and service reliable?

I'm just asking as I've never really heard anyone taking about buying from them on here, unless I just haven't spotted it.

I’ve bought from them a few times both in store (Stevenage) and online. Both times were new camera bodies and I can’t fault them. That’s the thing, if everything goes fine you just think it’s normal and don’t say anything. That way you only hear from people when they’ve had a problem.

I've bought a couple of secondhand cameras from them. The items were as described, the prices were good and the delivery was quick.

I've only bought from them at Focus on Imaging/The Photography Show. No problems.

Thanks Rob

I've used them several times and the service and price has always been good - they have deals quite regularly too; I saved over £100 on my 3LT tripod.

One thing to be aware of though: they don't show stock levels on their website, so I've been caught out a couple of times with items that have taken longer to arrive than I was expecting due to being out of stock. They phoned to let me know both times, but if you're in a hurry for something it would be worth giving them a call to make sure they actually have it.

Have bought form their eBay store twice, first time no issues.

Second time the item was faulty and they didn't deal with it well, took quite a long time to get resolved.

I bought my 5D (now 'Classic') from them way back in 2006 and continued with several second hand lenses and other bits and bobs over the years.

If I'm nearby I will always stop by their London shop on Wells Street to see what they have in; they've always been pleasant to deal with. I don't think I've ever bought anything from their web site, though.

I bought my camera (Canon M50 Mk2) from them about a month ago.

After I placed the order they emailed me to say they only had one left and that the box had been damaged (it showed in stock when I ordered). They offered me the one they had for a 10% discount and I went for it (after asking them to confirm nothing inside the box was damaged) and it was absolutely fine except for the user manual which had been squashed a bit, as had one side of the box.

Overall I was OK with the experience - they were up front about the situation and offered to let me cancel if I wasn't happy. I ended up with a really good deal as they were the cheapest to start with and I got another 10% off.

One of the 3 main retailers at the photography show alongside Wex and Park Cameras, host their own show at Brands Hatch Circuit alongside a track day supported by a load of manufacturer stands. Google camera shop Uk they are one of the top three non-advert listings.

I have used all their branches, Chelmsford being the closest Camera shop to me, London when in town and Stevenage on occasion if out that way.
No issues service wise.

Bought a Panasonic 25mm from their Stevenage store a couple of months ago.
No problems and have also dealt with them successfully before at their Wells St shop.

I went to the last day they did at Brands Hatch, it was really good, and I got a good deal on a new camera bag while I was there (although that was one of the items that they didn't have in stock, ridiculously, so it was posted to me several days later).

Photos from the day if anyone's interested:

It's actually just a track day, if you just wanted to wander round with your camera you could; I did one of the walks though and learnt some really useful stuff :)

They constantly advertise equipment they do not have. unprofessional set up.

Bought a few times from them, both online and at their London store. Very helpful, good prices.
