Does anyone bind their own books?

I ask because it's what I'm spending most of my time doing at uni at the moment and it's really enjoyable. If you do, what's your preferred method of binding and why?

Hi,
I did one book myself. That was A6 size test, but effect was quite good. I printed that on to A5 photo paper, folded in half and bonded backs toogether. Cover was made from hot laminated printed canvas bonded on small metal plates( I couldn't find backing paper )
