For years I have been trying to get into the vast disused dockland area north of Liverpool. The Docker's Clock is well known, and unapproachable - supposedly. Everyone seems to have a secret dream to get out to it, especially now that it is likely to be refurbed when the unused docks are redeveloped.
Managed to get to it this morning, and I'm a little underwhelmed. It's interesting in itself, but is just stuck there in the middle of nothing. Anyone else ever manage to get out there, and if so what are your thoughts on it?
Best part of the morning was finding a way into the Tobacco Wharehouse. That's the next trip before it transforms itself into high class apartments.
