On monday, My Nikon D3000, My location is Cadishead and from what information my dad got this morning, my camera has gone from the Manchester Depo, But apprently its been delivered to the Warrington depo which is closer to me, So does anyone think it will arrive monday?

It being with DHL Express,

Arrived At Depot 08/01/10 22:44 MANCHESTER SERVICE CENTRE
Undelivered - adverse weather 07/01/10 07:30 MANCHESTER SERVICE CENTRE
Arrived At Depot 07/01/10 04:11 MANCHESTER TERMINAL
Shipment Data Received 06/01/10 NORTHAMPTON SERVICE CENTRE

Its not been updated yet but when my dad phoned they said its at the warrington depo.

if you give them a call you should be able to collect from them
 
I used to live in Cadishead, small world really, no it wont arrive Monday as it will snow again. You could always go and pick it up yourself?
 
Hi, popped this on your other thread originally.

Give them a ring, I had a lens being delivered last year by them and was given a date and time -> between 8 and 6pm, phoned them up (Manchester depot) to see if I could collect / any better idea of time, the lady I spoke to was very helpfull and pleasent, she put me on hold for a minute or two and contacted the driver who was already out delivering with an approx time he thought he'd be here - gave me a 90minute window

Definately worth a quick call, rather than sitting there on Monday waiting and wondering. Hope it arrives and enjoy your new purchase
 
yea I think the only option is for me to go pick it up, Are DHL actually a bad company to go with for delivery?
 
Lol, I ll keep that in mind photon, I think I`m going to go down and collect it. Got no choice really, and i want it before the snow clears up so i can get some decent shots too.

irlam here

just had a horrendous consignment story from irlam to aberdeen..next day by 3 by UPS...got there a week later..

DHL delivered me two parcels last week. Both times I was in work and they left the parcel with my next door neighbour and a card.

They were also the only ones that got a delivery to me on one really bad day last week, royal mail and home delivery network failed on that same day... No complaints here!

Hope you get it tomorrow anyway :D
