Isn't there a stat or study that shows that 03:43 is the precise time of day when there's least activity?
Try telling that to the noisy students that live in the apartments where I work lol. Although to be fair, most of them aren't yet in that early!

Often awake at that time (but not today!) but have found that keeping me eyes shut lets me get back to sleep quicker (after a quick glance at the clock...) Back in the summer, I would often get up and come downstairs until my wife woke for her early classes (she teaches at 07:15 so heads down to her Yoga studio at 06:30 which means up at 05:45) then I would make her a cup of coffee. Now it's too cold and dark so I pretend it's not happening! (Nytol 1-a-night help!)
