Good for you! You just never know what will or wont be news. Of course, knowing who these various club staff members are is a whole different kettle of fish! You do need to know your stuff to manage that.
 
Thats true, bonus with the higher the club is the easier it is to notice them

The letters on the kit help to :lol:
 
as i mentoned in another thread. was at a game last week.. took up an odd position near dugouts as all the agencies where behind goals... they got fantastic goal celebration pics right in front of them.. like it was staged... all i got was backs of players... but as the scorer headed back to center circle he just held a finger up towards the bench as if to say one.... its a boring pic and nowhere near as good as all the agencies got with goal celebrations... but i sent it in anyways... ... the sun newspaper used mine because it was a long tall pic and exactly fitted the space they had... Not showing off.. just making the point..

So as Steven says.....always send what you have .. even if your personally dissapointed or you think others got better ...) theres lots of reasons to send yours in no matter what :)
 
exactly, you may think a picture isn;t good enough but editors do. they dont seem to have a specific way with picking them from my experience

and (again not showing off.. just emphasisng the point) there was some big and little agencies there.. so just proves yet again that if they are there its not a forgone conclusion that they get used over you......
I keep being told that if one of the big three agencies are there then you ahve no chance.. I have shown a few times.. oh yes you do :)

If your not there you cant get published, if you are there you stand a better chance regardless of what happens

Just need alittle luck sometimes but its definitely there

I know when I do Boro The FL paper already have a deal/contract with another agency to supply pics meaning I was never used until they decided one day to use one of my image.... on the cover
 
hope you dont mind me asking but can anyone send a pic in in the hopes it will be printed or do they just use certain people. whitey and kipax do you have to havce a licence to take pics?

Well I might as well not have wired tonight...

I bought an EE 4G Mifi for £69 before Christmas - 90 days for 6Gb. I still had my Three 3Gb as well. When the EE one ran out I jus put the Three sim in.

Well tonight at Hillsborough the PA 15ft to my left had an EE 4G MiFi and his images flew out. Mine of the winning goal and cele were going at about 2.3kbs !!!!

I had some nice shots but I didn't have a shot of Chris Powell celebrating by swinging on the crossbar..

Win some and lose some :arghh:
 
Christ how can you run out with 6gb to go at or do you mean your 90 days were up and you were too tight to top it up
 
The 90 days were up and I didn't top it up. I just used popped the Three SIM in.
 
Was going to say, thought you had sent over 6gb int hat time lol

I haven't sent 5gb with mine in a year

Licenses are required for PL, FL and conference.

You can get a free conference license however by applying via the conference

If Three haven't got their 4G sorted properly by next season I will change from £15/month for 6Gb (which I used when I was out and about doing training) and switch to a PAYG, then get a 1Gb/month EE deal.
 
Just looked and EE are doing 24Gb valid for 12 months for £120 which I think is pretty good.
 
My 3 one is up in June/July and I think I will be going 4G with EE as its the same sort of price (only need 1gb per month)
 
saved money buing a new dongle with a full year credit on it...no more worrying when its gonna run out.... got it on my wall chart when to buy another :)
 
Is it 4G? If so who with?
 
Cant get 4g in accy... blessed to have leccy and running water..

Last night at Hillsborough before the game only half the lights were on - thank goodness they had paid their leccy bill and could the rest on before the game started.
 
It's only our lenses that are soft..
